How UFC and MMA betting markets work
MMA betting is built around a two-fighter market, so the core bets are tighter than in team sports:
- Moneyline (fight winner): the headline market. Heavy favorites in mismatches carry short prices, so many bettors move to props for value.
- Method of victory: KO/TKO, submission or decision. Useful when a fighter's finishing style is clear.
- Round betting / over-under rounds: pick the fight to end inside a round, or wager total rounds — over 1.5, under 2.5 and similar lines.
- Go the distance: yes/no on whether the fight reaches a decision.
- Same Game Parlay style combos: pair fighter, method and round on the same bout where offered.
Because MMA slates are short (one main fight plus undercard bouts), the margin baked into each price matters more than volume. Across our sampled markets the tightest average margins came from DraftKings (4.25%), Fanatics (4.24%) and FanDuel (4.45%); BetRivers ran wider at 6.36%. A wider margin means the sportsbook holds more on each fight, which chips at long-term returns even on the same fighter.

Full ranking →Which sportsbook fits which MMA bettor
All nine operators here are state-licensed and carry UFC odds. The differences that matter on fight night are price, live capability and how the app handles fast-moving rounds.
- bet365 — top-rated for market coverage (9.6), sports depth (9.5) and live capability (9.4), with Live Streaming and Bet Builder among its features. Choose it if you want the deepest in-play MMA markets and streaming in one app.
- DraftKings — best-price share leader at 54.0% on sampled selections and the tightest margin group (4.25%), with Same Game Parlay and Fast Payout. Choose it if line shopping and price is your priority.
- FanDuel — second on best-price share (36.0%) with a 9.3-rated app and Same Game Parlay. A strong all-rounder for prop-and-parlay bettors.
- BetMGM — solid live betting and Same Game Parlay, but lowest sampled best-price share (19.5%) and widest margin among the majors (5.21%). Fine if you're inside its rewards ecosystem; less compelling purely on MMA price.
- Caesars Sportsbook — 36.4% best-price share on a large 904-selection sample, with Cash Out and Same Game Parlay.
- BetRivers — best withdrawals rating in this group (8.6) and Fast Payout, but the widest sampled margin (6.36%). Choose it if payout speed outranks price for you.
- ESPN BET — 8.6-rated app with Cash Out and Same Game Parlay; a fit if you already live in the ESPN app for fight coverage.
- Fanatics Sportsbook — tight sampled margin (4.24%) and 41.8% best-price share, with Fast Payout and Same Game Parlay.
- Hard Rock Bet — Live Betting, Same Game Parlay and Fast Payout, best where it's available in your state.

Live betting and cash out on fight night
MMA moves fast between rounds, so in-play tools carry real weight. bet365, DraftKings, FanDuel, BetMGM, Caesars, BetRivers, ESPN BET, Fanatics and Hard Rock Bet all list Live Betting. Cash Out — closing a bet early before the final bell — is listed at bet365, DraftKings, FanDuel, BetMGM, Caesars, ESPN BET and Hard Rock Bet. Live Streaming for events appears at bet365, DraftKings and FanDuel.
For round-based wagering, live capability ratings tell you which book handles rapid line updates best: bet365 (9.4), FanDuel (8.9), DraftKings (8.8) and BetMGM (8.5) lead the group. If you plan to bet between rounds, prioritize live capability and streaming over the sign-up headline.
Payments, payouts and account basics
Every operator here lists a $10 minimum deposit and a 0–24h withdrawal window, with both iOS and Android apps. Payment menus differ slightly:
- PayPal — supported at all nine operators.
- Venmo — bet365, DraftKings, FanDuel, BetMGM, Caesars, ESPN BET, Fanatics, Hard Rock Bet.
- Online Banking — supported across the board.
- Visa — bet365 and FanDuel.
- Play+ — DraftKings, BetMGM, Caesars, BetRivers.
Withdrawal ratings separate the group: BetRivers (8.6), bet365 (8.9), FanDuel (8.7) and DraftKings (8.5) score highest. If cashing out MMA winnings quickly matters, filter to Fast Payout books and check our PayPal betting sites and Play+ betting sites pages for method-specific options.
Is MMA betting legal where you are?
US sports betting is regulated state by state. An operator licensed by the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement is not automatically legal in another state — availability, minimum age and rules depend on your state regulator (NJ DGE, NYSGC, PGCB, MGCB and others). The minimum betting age is 21.
Live-market states include New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Colorado, Ohio, Illinois, Arizona, Virginia and Massachusetts. Before you bet a UFC card, confirm the sportsbook is licensed in your state — see our legal betting sites United States guide. We only verify operators against their state licence status as stated in our data; we do not test deposits or withdrawals.
